Foggy weather conditions

Monday morning’s commute got pretty bad with the fog. It was cold enough that some areas had snow grains drifting across the roads; other areas had thick fog.
Day 6: Inversion conditions persist throughout N. Utah. This morning it was cold enough to suspend tiny water droplets in the atmosphere creating proper fog on top of the PM2.5 in the air. Conditions will continue for the the next week, at least. #ActNow4CleanAir pic.twitter.com/Ftn9YYCfKl

It kept the KSL Traffic Center busy with all the slide-offs, crashes and slowdowns.

The National Weather Service of Salt Lake City, and KSL Meteorologist Grant Weyman say there doesn’t seem to be any chance of the inversion clearing for a week or two.
