DMV to open select lobbies by appointment only

SALT LAKE CITY — Beginning May 1st, several Utah DMV locations will be reopening their lobbies by appointment only.

DMV locations in Salt Lake, South Valley, Farmington, Ogden and Provo will schedule appointments from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m starting this Friday.

The DMV’s website says that they will continue to follow social distancing guidelines at all of their locations.

The department also says that many services they offer can be completed online and that most registration renewals can be completed online at Renewal Express or at an On the SPOT renewal station.
