Wasatch County Firefighters are working to put out a fire near Heber

HEBER, Utah- Wasatch County Fire is on the scene of a fire burning near 4800 E 1200 S just outside Heber City.

Officials from Wasatch County Fire say the fire was a controlled burn that got out of hand.

It is unknown at this time what caused the fire to get out of control. The fire was called in around 3:15 P.M. and officials responded immediately. 

No structures are involved at this time however some are threatened by the flames. 

Evacuations are in place for those that are threatened. 

The fire is still active and the public is being asked to stay away if possible so crews can work quickly and efficiently.
