MAGNA, Utah — Four people were hospitalized Sunday afternoon after a Utah Transit Authority (UTA) bus left the road near 7300 West 3500 South in Magna.
According to UTA spokesman Carl Arky, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. and was a one-vehicle accident involving only the UTA bus.
“There were four people transported to the hospital,” Arky told KSL, “and one of them was the bus operator, none of them with life-threatening injuries.”
Arky said he believes the bus hit a utility pole. Late Sunday afternoon an investigation continued.
