Power outage in Bountiful affecting over 300 customers

UPDATE: Power has been restored.

BOUNTIFUL, Utah — Bountiful City Power is reporting a power outage which is affecting over 300 customers. The outage is happening at 1800 South to 2600 South and 200 West to Davis Boulevard.

Crews are working on a section fuse that blew and repairing the fuse is time consuming according to Bountiful City Power. The power company adds, fixing the fuse requires the crews to check each wire in order to determine which one needs to be replaced.

Representatives for the company said they are not able to determine when the power will be restored.
