Unified Fire Authority responds after helicopter makes hard landing

BINGHAM CANYON, Utah — The Unified Fire Authority is on the scene after a helicopter took a hard landing near the Rio Tinto Kennecott Bingham Canyon Copper Mine on Saturday.
A spokesman told KSL crews located two patients, but he did not yet know their exact condition, or what caused the hard landing of the helicopter.
Medical helicopters remain on standby.
