An investigation began immediately following the reports. Police were dispatched to the Priority 1 call and arrived on scene in two minutes.
Upon arrival, police found the suspect, a 44-year-old man, on the southeast corner of the City and County Building. Police noticed the man was carrying a weapon. They say they believed it was the same weapon that he was previously reported to be wearing in his waistband.
