SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson had nearly all he could handle during Utah’s 110-104 win over San Antonio on Monday night.

Despite scoring 23 points for the Jazz, Clarkson was being heckled by a fan sitting courtside.

Late in the fourth period, Clarkson was upset on a non-call after a shot attempt. Clarkson remained on the court as the teams went down to the other end of the court with Doug McDermott draining a 3-pointer to pull the Spurs to within 94-80 with 4 minutes to play.

During the sequence, the fan started yelling at Clarkson, which at first, he was able to ignore. However, as the teams were walking to their benches following a timeout, Clarkson stopped and began walking toward the fan.

Clarkson’s teammates and security were able to prevent the situation from getting any worse. Clarkson’s teammates escorted him back to the Utah bench, while security removed the fan from the arena.

In the closing moments of the contest, Clarkson, whose hometown is San Antonio, hit a pair of free throws to seal the victory for Utah.

Clarkson refused to say specifically what the fan said.

But Monday’s incident isn’t an isolated one. Earlier in the season, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James had two fans ejected at a game in Indianapolis.
