LOGAN, Utah — Police in Logan, Utah, have arrested 61-year-old Darrin Smith for sexual exploitation of a minor.
According to a press release, Internet Crimes Against Children investigators with the Logan Police Department arrested Smith for downloading child pornography to a home computer. The download reportedly occurred in the fall of 2022.
Smith is currently employed as a bus driver for the Cache and Logan School Districts, police said, and there is no evidence suggesting Smith used his position to commit offenses against minors.
Logan police said both the Cache and Logan School Districts have been notified of the arrest.
