SALT LAKE CITY — If you’re seeking a new job look no further as thousands of open positions are available statewide. The upcoming job fair can help you find the right fit.

Thursday, March 2, a free online event put on by the Utah Department of Workforce Services will feature open job positions from more than 60 Utah employers. The fair is to take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

“With Utah’s continued strong economy, now is a great time for job seekers to upscale their career,” said Liz Carver, Workforce Development Division director.

Furthermore, the job fair features positions in healthcare, government, transportation, construction manufacturing, retail and more.

Participants can log in to the fair on their computer or smartphone and upon logging in they’ll see rows of employer booths. A release from the department of workforce services said by clicking on a booth, the participant can see the company profile, job openings, and social media.

“We encourage attendees to prepare for the fair by updating their resume and researching potential employers,” said Carver.

Also, it’s encouraged to pre-register here. Participants must create an account or sign in to ‘my Job Search’ to find pre-registration for the event.

In addition to the job fair, employment seekers can find over 50,000 job openings here as well.
