Body found at construction site in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY — A body was reported to police on Tuesday morning.

Salt Lake City Police spokeswoman Michelle Petersen said someone called their dispatch and alerted them about the body. Police do not know who called them.

When they arrived on the scene, a construction site at 930 West and 2100 South, Lee said they found the body.

In the early stages of the investigation, Lee said nothing appeared suspicious. But that investigation continues.
