SALT LAKE CITY — Cities across the state held services and events for Memorial Day on Monday.
Gov. Spencer Cox ordered that the U.S. and state flags be flown at half-staff for the day.

In a video message, Cox expressed his gratitude for the “service and sacrifice of those serving in the U.S. armed forces and their families.”
