Woman barricades herself inside West Jordan home, then arrested

WEST JORDAN, Utah — West Jordan police say a female who barricaded herself inside a home with a knife has been taken into custody.
According to West Jordan police, law enforcement were called to the area of 1287 W. Milky Hollow Lane on Wednesday afternoon. A second female was in the house, according to police, however, that individual was able to escape from the house.
Police say the suspect showed up at the residence and a disagreement ensued.
Police say the second female was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. They say it is likely the victim will be released sometime Wednesday evening.
