MURRAY, Utah — An auto accident left one man dead and another man in critical condition after an automobile accident late Tuesday.
According to Public Information Officer for the Murray Police Department, Kristin Reardon, a call came in at about 10:45 p.m. Officers were dispatched to intersection of 5460 South and State Street.
“We had a vehicle that was in the southbound traveling lanes going to turn left onto 5460 South when that vehicle was struck by a northbound vehicle,” said Reardon.
According to Reardon, the impact caused one of the vehicles to roll. There were no other occupants in either car.
“We had one vehicle that rolled in one that traveled far distance after it struck that vehicle.”
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
“The critical accident response team has come out. So they will reconstruct that and talk to witnesses and try to figure out exactly how it occurred,” said Reardon.
