SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services is celebrating the grand reopening of the State Liquor and Wine Store on 280 W Harris Avenue.
Years-long road construction has impacted store access for employees, customers, and licensed businesses that use the store to acquire products, said Tiffany Clason, the executive director for the
DABS.
The grand reopening of the wine store will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023. It will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Wine education booths will be featured throughout the store.
The education booths are a first for the DABS, said Clason. During the event, store employees will give presentations about different wines. French, Italian, South African, and sparkling wines will be the subjects of the presentations.
Clason said the event will not include wine tastings.
