Body found in Jordan River in Rose Park neighborhood

SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department said it is recovering a body found in the Salt Lake neighborhood of Rose Park on Tuesday morning.
In a post on X, the SLCPD said the body had been found in the Jordan River near the Rose Park Golf Course.
In a press briefing, the SLCPD said golfers found the body around 9 a.m. Homicide detectives will investigate the death, which is standard procedure.
