Eagle Mountain, Utah — A 16-year-old female was transported by LifeFlight after being hit by a car, according to Utah County Sgt. Spencer Cannon.

The girl was reportedly riding an e-bike when a car turned in front of her. Police say she was wearing a helmet at the time of accident.

The accident happened near Cedar Valley High School just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Authorities do not believe the accident occurred in a school zone.

The victim was flown to Primary Children’s Hospital in fair condition.
