Semi-truck accident on I-84 leaves one dead

HENFER, Utah — A single-unit fuel truck lost control and rolled between Echo Junction and Henefer westbound at approximately 12:40 p.m. Tuesday.
According to Park City Fire District’s Facebook, the driver sustained fatal injuries and died on the scene.
Sgt. Cameron Roden with the Utah Highway Patrol said the vehicle lost control and the trailer began to spin. Then, a tank carrying fuel on the truck disconnected and leaked.
The Summit County Health Department responded to the crash along with Park City Fire District Hazmat 33, paramedics, and a heavy rescue team.
Both directions of I-84 closed, including both of the frontage roads.
