Authorities report officer-involved shooting in Utah County

UTAH COUNTY, Utah — The Utah County Sheriff’s Office reported an officer-involved incident on Wednesday.
According to a post to X, formerly known as Twitter, police received a call at approximately 11:15 a.m. from a man who said he had shot himself in the leg.
About 11:15 Deputies and medical took a report from a man who said he’d shot himself in the leg. When Deputies arrived there was an officer involved shooting. We have called for the Officer Involved Critical Incident Team. For now a media staging at SR73 MM 19.

The post states, that when deputies arrived there was an officer-involved shooting.
At the time of publication, the sheriff’s office hasn’t commented on the condition of anyone involved.
