Sister Kathleen Johnson Eyring passes at 82

SALT LAKE CITY — Sister Kathleen Johnson Eyring, the wife of President Henry B. Eyring, Second Counselor in the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints passed away at the age of 82 Sunday.
In a news article, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced Sister Eyring’s passing.

According to the article, Sister Eyring was an outgoing and fun-loving woman. She and President Eyring met in 1961 and were married in 1962. Together they had four sons and two daughters.
The church said Sister Eyring served faithfully in many formal church responsibilities. These included teaching lessons at church, serving as a visiting teacher and producing a newsletter for her congregation.
Sister Eyring was surrounded by her family in Bountiful, Utah at her time of death.
