Small plane crashes near Vernal Regional Airport

VERNAL, Utah — Three passengers were on board a small plane that crashed in a field north of the Vernal Regional Airport on Wednesday.
According to Vernal City Police, all three plane passengers were checked out by emergency responders at the crash scene.
They were released with what were described as minor injuries.
Police said they were alerted to a downed airplane in Vernal City and arrived at the accident scene around 10:30 a.m.
The airplane was taken to Vernal Regional Airport. The National Traffic Safety Board and the National Traffic Safety Board are reportedly investigating.
