PROVO, Utah — A driver was hospitalized Thursday morning after his truck veered off a road and into a home. This happened at 200 North and 900 East in Provo, according to police.
The truck crashed into the home, police said, and came to a stop when it was fully inside the residence.
“The 61-year-old male driver was conscious and breathing, and transported to Utah Valley Hospital with unknown injuries,” said Janna-Lee Holland with Provo Police in a statement.
A resident inside the home received minor injuries from flying debris caused by the truck. He was given medical attention, police said.
Police closed the northbound lanes of 900 East in the area while utility crews assessed the damage and stabilized the home.
