SALT LAKE CITY — Some lawmakers are pushing to prevent the sale of lab-grown meat in the U.S. despite it being approved for sale in 2023, the Associated Press reported last week.

Some companies that produce cultivated meat argue that it is better for the environment.

ABC News’ Entertainment Correspondent Jason Nathanson has tried lab-grown meat. He told Jeff Caplan’s Afternoon News about the experience:
