Little Cottonwood Canyon closed due to rollover, fire

SALT LAKE CITY — SR-210 in Little Cottonwood Canyon was closed due to a rollover crash and a fire on Monday morning. It has since been temporarily reopened. However, UDOT said that an “intermittent closure” will happen when a tow truck arrives to remove the overturned vehicle.

In an X post by the Utah Department of Transportation, photos showed smoke billowing from an overturned vehicle as emergency responders worked.

KSL Traffic’s Heather Kelly posted on X that the crash happened near Lisa Falls, initially closing eastbound traffic in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
The vehicle caught fire, igniting some nearby trees and later closing the whole road.

In Kelly’s video, smoke can be seen billowing from the trees.
