One man dead, another in critical condition after motorcycle accident

LAKE POINT, Utah — One man is dead, and another is in critical condition after being in a motorcycle accident at 8 p.m. Saturday night.

Sgt Brandon Light with the Tooele County Sherriff’s Office said the two men, both 20 years old, were riding a motorcycle together when they crashed head on with a car at 7000 N Center St in Lake Point.

Light said the car involved with the crash was in the opposite lane. Police are unaware at this time of who crossed the center lane or what caused the crash.

When police arrived at the scene, one of the men were pronounced dead, the other in critical condition, according to Light.

Light said the driver of the car had no injuries reported.
