Eagle Mountain residents return home after brief brush fire evacuation

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah — Residents in Eagle Mountain headed home on Thursday after a brush fire prompted a brief evacuation.
A 10-acre brush fire started near the Lone Tree area on Thursday.
Unified Fire is currently on the scene responding to this brush fire at Pinecone Road and Pony Express Parkway.
Eagle Mountain City asked people in the area to find an alternate route from the fire.
KSL Chopper 5 was over the fire and they were able to see people outside their homes dosing the brush as well as trying to help fight the flames.
There is still no estimated time on when it could be out.
