SANDY, Utah — The Milestone Home in Sandy recently went through a major remodel fit for The Parade of Homes.
The home helps homeless young adults get back on their feet
The Milestone Home underwent a significant remodel, thanks to community partners. They stepped up to mark its 83% success rate in helping over 300 individuals.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Sandy Mayor Monica Zoltanski reflected on the hard work behind it all.
“I’m so proud of our city,” she said. “When we see projects like this go from an idea to reality, it shows how much we can accomplish when we work together.”
She said the Milestone Home is more than a beautiful shelter.
“It really is a representation of what community can be when we work together to solve our problems,” Zoltanski said. “So, I’m just so proud of this new facility and all the opportunity it represents for our young adults in Sandy.”
The remodel caught the eye of The Parade of Homes and will be featured starting this August.
