Man airlifted after being shot, suspect crashed vehicle during police pursuit

TOOELE, Utah — A man had to be airlifted on Saturday due to a gunshot wound, the suspect who shot the person was later caught after crashing a vehicle during a police pursuit.
Cpl. Bentley with the Tooele City Police Department said police were dispatched to a victim who was shot at Vorwaller Homestead and RV Park at 3:30 a.m.
Police said the man who was shot was airlifted to the hospital to for treatment. There is no word on the state of the person who was shot.
Bentley said the TCPD did not find the suspect, but Tooele County Sheriff’s Office did.
According to Bentley, the suspect crashed during a pursuit with police, there is no word on the condition of the suspect at this time.
