Clay Pit Fire starts near Saratoga Springs

SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah — A wildfire grew to around 200 acres near Saratoga Springs Wednesday night.
The Clay Pit Fire began as a brush fire in Israel Canyon at around 5 p.m. The fire is located on public lands.

As of 11 p.m. Wednesday, Utah Fire Info said there are no structures threatened.
Several crews responded to the scene, including Saratoga Springs Fire, Lehi Fire, Unified Fire, Ttah County Fire, State and BLM.
Saratoga Springs City PIO AnnElise Harrison says helicopters are pulling water from a secondary water pond nearby.
