WASHINGTON — Over the last couple of years Congress seems to talk more and more about UFOs.
Listen to the full inside sources episode with hosts Leah Murray and Adam Gardiner:
UFOs and unexplained extraterrestrial events even have their own lobbyist.
Stephen Bassett is the founder and lobbyist for the Paradigm Research Group.
He first registered in 1996 to lobby the government on hiding the truth of extraterrestrial presences and events.
Well in recent years the US Government and NASA has begun releasing their reports on unidentified aerial phenomena, or more commonly known as UFOs.
The pentagon even set up a new office, the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office in July of 2022 to track reports and follow up on them
Mostly recently the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office released a report that spans May 2023 to June 2024. That report said they received 757 reports of unidentified anomalous phenomenon. Out of those 757, only 118 cases were resolved, meaning the source of the event was identified. As of November 2024 that still leaves over 600 cases that are still unidentified.
According to the Associated Press, resolved cases included things like “misidentified balloons, birds and satellites.”
Those still left unidentified included incidents “such as a near-miss between a commercial airliner and a mysterious object off the coast of New York.”
