SALT LAKE CITY — It’s a good bet that wherever you are in Utah on Saturday, you could see some rain.
SPC has highlighted parts of Utah for a couple of strong to severe wind gusts and an isolated large hail threat. No Severe Thunderstorms Watch expected at this time. #utwx https://t.co/voBlOwj0BH

“It won’t be big, it’s not a total washout for the day,” said KSL meteorologist Kevin Eubank, “but there are chances for rain all the way from St. George up to Logan.”
And Saturday’s rain might help northern Utahns settle into a major cooldown expected to start off the week.

Eubank said that skies will become partly cloudy on Sunday, and by Sunday night a cold front is expected to move in. That could bring rain overnight Sunday into Monday, but Eubank says what will be most noticeable is the cooler temperatures along the Wasatch Front.
He says highs could only be in the 60s by Monday, and that the low on Tuesday morning could be close to 40.
Southern Utah will see showers begin in the early morning hours, with showers developing along the Wasatch Front mid to late morning. Thunderstorm chances will increase around 10AM for southern Utah, while northern Utah will get its turn by mid-afternoon. #utwx pic.twitter.com/xkJMURCop8
