To fulfill President Lincoln’s promise, “To care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan”, Salt Lake City Fisher House serves and honors America’s veterans. The house hosts up to 20 families, of all ages, while our veterans and military are receiving medical treatment at the VA Medical Center.

The compassionate team at The Road Home is committed to helping people step out of homelessness and back into our community. Their vision is to move people seamlessly from the cold streets into warm housing, from despair and alienation towards home and inclusion.
In 1875, the first two sisters of the Holy Cross came to Utah. In their first 90 days, they opened a hospital and grade school for vulnerable families. More than 140 years later, Holy Cross Ministries continues to serve the poor, underserved, and marginalized in Utah, especially women and children, regardless of age, gender, faith, race, or ability to pay.
Students also feel like they can talk to Mr. Park on a personal level. They can confide in him. Many times, former students will tell him that he is their all-time favorite teacher.

For low-income populations, healthy, fresh foods can seem a luxury. For these families, the lower-cost, unhealthy foods are often perceived as the only affordable option. Everyone at the Table (or EAT) Coalition of Utah County wants to change this and envisions a county where all residents can affordably obtain or produce nutritious foods.
