Children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads, but this is not available to every family. Read. Graduate. Succeed. is an AmeriCorps program that organizes volunteers to help students who are starting to fall behind in reading. Volunteer tutors support regular classroom instruction with a structured practice called the Student Tutoring Achievement for Reading or STAR program. STAR was developed by the Utah State Office of Education based on researched principles. Students quickly become stellar readers with individual attention and structured practice.
