Fire destroys home in Tooele

SALT LAKE CITY — A home in Tooele was deemed a total loss after the house went up in flames on Friday night.

The Tooele City Fire Department said a neighbor at Whites Mobile Home Park called 911 when they saw the home was on fire around 8:30 p.m.

Firefighters said they were able to stop the flames from spreading to other homes; however, the residence that caught fire was a total loss.

TFD said Tooele Army Depot Fire Department helped to suppress the fire and no one was injured. TFD did not say what caused the fire.
