Make-up days announced for Utah schools closed by snow

SALT LAKE CITY — After a major snowstorm shut down a number of school districts in northern Utah, those schools have begun to announce their make-up days.
School Make-up Days
Alpine School District
Spokesperson Kimberly Bird says officials are petitioning for kids not to have a make-up day during spring break.
Canyons School District
The District’s academic calendar lists April 24th as a comp day but says, “school emergency closure days will be made up first on President’s Day and the board reserves the right to determine a secondary date.”
Jordan School District
Jordan School District Administration says their administration will recommend a day to be voted on by the school board.
Juab School District
A yet to be announced day during spring break.
Murray School District
The District’s academic calendar lists March 27th as a make-up day.
Nebo School District
March 20th (not finalized)
Provo School District
The Provo School District academic calendar lists April 6th as their scheduled make-up day.
Salt Lake City School District
The Salt Lake City School District says their make-up day will be on May 22nd.
