things we left behind on uber rides...

Forgetting an item in an Uber is fairly common, but what’s unusual is some of the weird stuff people leave behind.

Uber has released a list of the stuff people forgot as they jumped out of a ride-share during the past year, which was a strange year for a wide variety of reasons.

The items we all left behind in an Uber

Not surprising, cell phones topped the list of things left behind on Uber rides, followed by wallets, purses, headphones, clothing and glasses.

But there is a long list of stuff that makes you go hmmm.  They include a six pack of toilet paper, a specimen cup from a doctor’s office, Mice, a boulder, and a bubble machine.

Medical devices appeared on occasion including a CPAP machine and an oxygen tank.

Then there’s the extra weird.  One driver found a tube with a bedazzled alien face.  There were the siracha themed socks, guinea pig slippers, a ziplock bag with $12.00 in quarters, a sword, a black leather choker with some accompanying silk clothing, a Star Trek shirt and fake ears, and a bag of stuffed elves.

Austin, Texas came out on top as the most forgetful city in the U.S followed by Fort Myers, Florida and Nashville, TN.

What to do? Call your driver

So what do you do if you get out of your Uber and realize you left diamond cufflinks behind?  Yes that was one of the items listed.

Uber says call your driver directly or contact them online and ask to arrange a pickup to get your stuff.
