Thursday morning, Utah Highway Patrol closed the ramp from southbound Interstate 15 to the westbound I-215 beltway in North Salt Lake for hours after a truck lost control on the curve and came to rest along the barrier.
Around 3:45 Thursday afternoon, a second truck became high-centered on a concrete barrier on the ramp between I-80 and the I-215 west beltway.
Utah Department of Transportation traffic cameras showed the cab of the truck straddling the barrier, high-centered precariously over the road below.
The ramp took about an hour to re-open as crews worked to clear the semi-truck. It is still unclear the accident happened.
