SALT LAKE CITY — A federal arrest warrant has been issued for Brian Laundrie in relation to a Federal Grant Jury indictment related to Laundrie’s activities following the death of Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito.

The arrest warrant is not for the death of Gabby Petito. ABC News reports that Laundrie has been indicted for using a debit card and a PIN number that did not belong to him to withdraw more than $1,000 from a bank.
“Basically this allows law enforcement to arrest him on something … while they investigate Petito’s death,” said ABC reporter Alex Stone.
And the FBI says they still want to speak with anybody who was in the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping area of the Bridger-Teton National Forest between August 27 and 30, 2021.
The #FBI continues to seek information from anyone who utilized the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area between Aug. 27-30, 2021, who may have had contact with Ms. Petito or Mr. Laundrie, or who may have seen their vehicle. For photos & details, visit: https://t.co/P72jXrGh3c
