Head-on collision near Garland sends two to the hospital

GARLAND, Utah — Emergency personnel from Garland and Fielding responded to a head-on collision near milepost 94 on Highway on Friday afternoon.
According to first responders, the accident happened just before 1:30 p.m.
One victim in each car had to be extricated from the crash. One victim was transported from the scene by air, while the second individual was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.
The status of the victims were not known. The cause of the crash is under investigation. The Utah Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
