Man injured in ATV crash on Lake Mountain

UTAH COUNTY, Utah — The Utah County Sheriff’s Office responded to an ATV accident on Lake Mountain Sunday morning.
According to authorities, a 44-year-old man from Eagle Mountain was seriously injured when the ATV he was riding rolled roughly 100 feet down a steep embankment at around 10 a.m.
Because of the terrain and the location he was in, Life Flight was called in to lift him out. Once off the mountain, the man was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.
According to Sgt. King with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, the man suffered a broken hip and a broken foot.
