LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON — A man skiing with his son at Brighton Ski Resort was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition on Wednesday.
Melody Cutler with Unified Police said the two were skiing in an area where the resort was using machinery to make snow.
“The son reports that his goggles became covered in the snow, so he couldn’t see,” she said. “His dad ran into a snowbank and received severe facial trauma and then suffered some kind of medical episode.”
Brighton opened to the public on Tuesday, Nov. 23.
