VIDEO: Heber City Police arrest DoorDash driver, finish up his order

Heber City Police are looking for a vehicle that hit a school crossing guard on Tuesday afternoon. Police say the vehicle fled the scene. The crossing guard suffered only minor injuries and is expected to make a full recovery. Photo credit: Jeffrey D. Allred, Deseret News

HEBER CITY, Utah — Heber City Police said one of their officers finished delivering someone’s DoorDash order after they arrested the driver.

Body camera video from the police department shows an officer knocking on someone’s door, and giving them the Mexican food they ordered.

Heber City Police say the driver had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. During the arrest, their officer noticed the driver was in the middle of delivering the order, so he took the Mexican food to its destination.
