Since mid-day Friday, Utah County Sheriff’s office, UCSO, says a 52-year-old-man has been missing.

Sgt. Spencer Cannon with the UCSO said they have reason to believe the missing man is in the Payson Canyon. Sgt. Cannon says they’ve located the missing man’s car and are not releasing his name at this time.

Furthermore, Cannon reports the Terrain is difficult in the canyon. There are teams on foot and a Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter to shuttle personnel up the mountain. The search continues to locate the man.
