Walker was found today after he flagged down a motorist and got a ride to a command post. He was found in a healthy condition despite weakness from not eating or drinking for nearly two days.

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah County Sheriff’s office identified the missing man as Daniel Kory Walker, of Spanish Fork. The Western States Aerial Search is conducting a drone search of the Payson Canyon area near Walker’s car. Ground search will resume Sunday morning.

Since mid-day Friday, Utah County Sheriff’s office, UCSO, says a 52-year-old-man has been missing.
Sgt. Spencer Cannon with the UCSO said they have reason to believe the missing man is in the Payson Canyon. Sgt. Cannon says they’ve located the missing man’s car and are not releasing his name at this time.
Furthermore, Cannon reports the Terrain is difficult in the canyon. There are teams on foot and a Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter to shuttle personnel up the mountain. The search continues to locate the man.
