Salt Lake Express announces new route to Reno, Nevada

SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake Express is expanding its service with a new route to Reno, Nevada.
The route, via I-80, officially opened on Dec. 1.
The route came about after months of working with the Nevada Department of Transportation in determining the needs of the communities along this path.
Other destinations and stops along the route to Reno, include Battle Mountain, Elko, Fernley, Lovelock, Wells and Winnemucca.
“Our riders have been asking for this connection for some time now,” said Jacob Price, owner of Salt Lake Express in a news release. “We’re happy that we’re finally able to offer it to them. We know that it’s going to help so many travelers in this part of the country.”
The new route also opens up travel for college students attending the University of Nevada, University of Utah, and Brigham Young University.
“This route satisfies the needs of many travelers,” said Price. “But more than that, it opens up travel to the regional Tahoe area, which is a big reason a lot of people visit Reno in both the summer and winter.”
Additionally, Salt Lake Express also recently added a direct route to Boise, Idaho. Furthermore, locations in eastern and southern Utah, including Blanding, Moab and Vernal, have been added.
