OGDEN, Utah– Police are looking for the suspect in a hit-and-run accident that injured a crossing guard Tuesday morning.

In a Facebook post, Ogden Police said the accident happened around 6:55 a.m. at Harrop Street and Monroe Boulevard.

Police said the crossing guard was preparing to set up their post when they were hit by a southbound vehicle. No children were in the area at the time of the incident.

The crossing guard was taken to the hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area or may have caught the incident on camera to call the Ogden Police Traffic Bureau at 801-629-8285.
