70-year-old construction worker dies after worksite fall

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — A 70-year-old construction worker died after falling at a worksite in South Jordan on Thursday.

The accident happened around 11100 South 2865 West.

According to South Jordan City Police Sgt. Eric Anderson, the 70-year-old fell 10 feet, hit his head and died at the scene. 

While the man hit his head, Anderson said the exact cause of death is still under investigation. 

Police have not released the identity of the victim.
