Crash on SR-36 involving a dump truck leaves one man dead

TOOELE, Utah — A 56-year-old man was killed in a crash involving a dump truck on Wednesday, May 17.
Around 2:55 p.m. a Chevy Tahoe was traveling south on SR-36 in Stansbury Park. In a release from Utah Highway Patrol, troopers said the car was in the lefthand turn lane on Village Blvd. but hesitating to turn.
When the driver of the Tahoe finally turned, it was t-boned by a dump truck.
The driver of the dump truck was uninjured.
During the investigation, SR-36 was reduced to one lane for three hours. The accident is still under investigation.
