Parts of Utah experienced a severe thunderstorm, Pride Festival back on

SALT LAKE CITY — The severe thunderstorm warning, issued by the National Weather Service of Salt Lake City around noon today, is over.
On Twitter, NWS SLC said the last warning was in place for Provo, Orem, and Lehi until 3:00 p.m.

If you are in these areas you may experience gusts of wind up to 50 mph, torrential rainfall, and small hail.
Due to the weather, the opening of the downtown Pride Festival was temporarily postponed. However, Salt Lake City Police Department said on Twitter that the event will be in full swing by 3 p.m. today.
Great news!
The storm has passed.
Utah Pride, the event organizers, have given the all clear. Vendors are allowed back into the Pride Festival.

NWS SLC said if you can, stay indoors during the thunderstorm.
