Utah Jazz reaching new heights on TikTok

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz has been working hard to expand the team’s social media outreach. And their efforts have paid off, especially on TikTok. 

Among all NBA teams, the Jazz have the second most followed page on the social media app, behind only the Golden State Warriors.

Angie Treasure, senior director of content for the Jazz, tells KSL NewsRadio, the success has come from pushing boundaries about team posts. That allows the team to connect with fans of all levels.

“Important on TikTok is whether you can grab people’s attention and engage them,” Treasure said.

Treasure says those followers of the Jazz on TikTok are one of a kind.

“They might not even be sports fans,” she said. “Which is unique to our other social media platforms.”
