Orem Utah Temple to be dedicated early next year

SALT LAKE CITY — The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced Tuesday the Orem Utah Temple will be dedicated on Jan. 21, 2024.
Prior to the dedication, a public open house will begin Oct. 27 and will run through Dec. 16, with the exception of Sundays and Thanksgiving. A media day for the Orem Utah Temple will be held on Oct. 23, while invited guests will tour the temple Oct. 24-26.
The temple was first announced in October 2019.
Other temple news
Additionally, the First Presidency also announced Tuesday that the Provo Utah Temple will close for construction at the end of the day on Feb. 24, 2024.
In October 2021, President Russell M. Nelson announced the closure of the Provo Utah Temple following the dedication of the Orem Utah Temple.
Church leaders also announced the site of the Wichita Kansas Temple. The temple will be built on 6.42 acres of land at Lot 1 Block 1 of the Moorings Plaza Fourth Addition, Wichita.
